Job Description
About the Role DELTA H Technologies is hiring an experienced Welder - TIG & Metal Fusing to join our production team. In this role, you'll weld, cut, and braze metal pieces and products using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment, working under the direction of the Production Foreman Supervisor. If you take pride in precision work, know your way around a TIG and MIG welder, and want to be part of a team that values safety and craftsmanship, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Plan work order procedures and gather the tools and materials needed for each job Repair and fabricate items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to prevent overheating, warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area Notify your supervisor promptly of any faulty equipment or defective materials Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior relevant work experience preferred Skills Proficient in both TIG and MIG welding Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable working with refractory materials such as high-temperature ceramics, castable, and refractory brick Ability to adjust welder voltage as needed Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions Physical Requirements Able to exert up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally, with frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the facility Proficient use of hands and fingers to operate machinery and tools Good vision (including close vision, color vision, and depth perception) for reading drawings and inspecting work Ability to hear and communicate clearly in a noisy manufacturing environment Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders Comfortable bending, stooping, and reaching to inspect equipment and materials Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear Ability to safely and efficiently operate a powered industrial truck Working Conditions This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and standard shop safety equipment.
