Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MIG Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on various metal components, primarily utilizing MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient production of structural and mechanical assemblies, ensuring all work meets safety standards, blueprints, and industry specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Execute MIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated assemblies with precision and consistency. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Operate plasma cutters and other fabrication equipment to shape and prepare materials. Follow ASME codes & standards and adhere to safety protocols during all welding operations. Maintain a clean and organized work area while documenting work progress accurately in logs and reports. Requirements Willing to work, show up on time, be teachable, have a positive attitude 40 hours mandatory. Up to 60 hours a week available, depending on workload Proven experience with construction site welding projects involving structural steel or similar materials. Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; familiarity with other processes is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, rigging equipment, and machining processes. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding practices in manufacturing or construction environments. Ability to operate forklifts or other lifting equipment safely
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
