Guaranteed Hours and steady weekly schedule. Looking for welders proficient with 1/16 Flux Core, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW & SAW welding processes for mostly carbon and stainless-steel parts. You will be welding on massive steel structures like power generation equipment to large steel girders, beams and nodes for skyscrapers. We are building the foundations for some of the largest buildings in the world and most important equipment made out of steel. The more versatile welder you are, the higher your wage. We depend on your skill to produce quality parts that achieve fit, form and function for specialized industries and to get them done on time. Day and Afternoon Positions Available. Roles & Responsibilities:
Create quality welds according to blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements based on plan layout and procedures. Knowledge of operating welding machines such as welding tractors and bugs. Inspect welds for accuracy. We have invested in the best technology to make this as easy as possible. Prepare products to be welded accordingly by grinding, drilling, prepping steel. Change welding wire as necessary and properly store wire until it's no longer of use. They also change and maintain gas needed for welding. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements.) Our welders maintain and repair all equipment and use with care Must pass annual vision test
Abilities/Qualifications:
Ability to pass Welder Qualification Test Ability to read blueprints and drawings Ability to understand weld symbols Ability to follow directions Ability to lift 60 lbs. Ability to work on and around 400-degree F fabrications. Ability to follow welding procedure specifications (WPS) Ability to learn new tasks and operate tools and machinery Ability to follow safety instructions, proper use of PPE and attend safety training and apply to their job position. Knowledge and operation of overhead cranes. Reliable and trustworthy. Our TEAM and reputation mean the world to us.
Pay:
$21.00 - $26.50 per hour
