Shift Opportunities Available Pay:
$23-$30/hour Starting rate based on demonstrated TIG, stainless, and fabrication skills. If you take pride in laying down a clean stainless TIG weld, Northern has the kind of work that keeps it interesting. We build custom products, not the same parts over and over, so your work can range from sheet and plate to tube, pipe, vessels, and complex weldments. Different jobs bring different challenges, and we're looking for welders who know their craft, care about the finished product, and want to keep building their skills. What You'll Do TIG (GTAW) weld stainless steel on custom fabricated products. Work with sheet, plate, tube, pipe, and fabricated assemblies. Read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings. Complete welds to required quality and appearance standards. Perform fit-up and fabrication work based on your experience and skill level. Inspect your own work and work with Quality and fabrication leads to meet customer requirements. What We're Looking For Previous
TIG/GTAW
experience on stainless steel is required. Additional experience that may help you succeed includes: Stainless steel fabrication Purge welding Tube or pipe welding Sanitary or food-grade fabrication Thin-gauge stainless Out-of-position welding Pressure vessel work
MIG/GMAW
welding Blueprint reading, layout, and fit-up You don't need to check every box. We're looking for strong stainless welders who take pride in their work and want opportunities to continue developing their fabrication skills. Northern uses a skill-based welding progression that rewards demonstrated capability. As your welding and fabrication skills grow, so can your earning potential. Specialized welding qualifications can also earn additional premium pay, including opportunities for pipe, out-of-position, aluminum, and thin-gauge welding. Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm (45-hours) 3rd
Shift:
Four 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, 7:30pm to 6:00am Third-shift positions include a shift premium.
