Job Description
Givens Lifting Systems is one of North America's leaders in material handling design and manufacturing. We build custom cranes, manipulators, and other material-handling machinery located in Perrysburg, OH. We're looking for a motivated skilled certified fabricator/welder. We are seeking a qualified person to fabricate in shop and to help participate on installs around the United States. Starting wage from $25 to $29. Review at 90 days. Requirements:
- Not looking for Production Welders
- 2+ years of fabricating-measuring, layout, creating own fixtures, adjustments to welders, tight tolerance weldments
- all custom parts, one off weldments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- MIG welding experience required
- Blueprint reading
- Assembly experience of cranes a huge plus
- Able to acquire passport for potential travel to our Canadian office in London, ON.
