Shift:
A shift 5am•3:30pm B shift 8am•5:30pm Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to support fabrication and production operations. This role involves MIG welding, reading detailed blueprints, and ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding using flux-core wire (1/16th) on steel and metal components. Fabricate and assemble parts by cutting, bending, tacking, and welding materials to specification. Read and interpret blueprints, including weld symbols, to complete weld tests and production work accurately. Measure materials using standard tools (tape measures, squares, levels) to ensure precision. Prepare materials for welding by cleaning and positioning components. Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met. Maintain welding equipment and perform basic troubleshooting as needed. Qualifications 1-3 years of hands-on MIG welding experience, preferably in a production or structural environment. Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols. Strong knowledge of measurements and use of measuring tools. Experience working with fabrication equipment and tools. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing setting. Equipment & Safety Requirements Candidates must provide their own weld helmet and steel-toed boots.
