Job Description
Hiring Immediately Tig Welders Tig Welders weld various aluminum weldments and aluminum pipe. Hickey Metal Fabrication has been commited to manufacturing in Salem Ohio for 78 years. Essential Functions Tig Welder must be proficient in aluminum Must be able to read blue prints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges Tig Welder must be able to set up welding machines based on job and welding procedure specification Tig Welder must be able to fit products to blueprint specification Must keep work area clean and organized Must be self-motivated Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.. Be able to work well with others or on your own Tig Welders need to pay attention to detail Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes Committed to assuring that all work is performed in a safe and professional manner. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior experience
- Welder Certifications (not required but recommended)
- Able to drive a forklift to load and unload material
- Ability to follow instructions
- A weld test is required as part of the hiring process
