Job Description
Job Summary
HSGI, Inc. has an immediate opening for an AWS Certified Welder in Solon, OH.
Perform welding operations according to AWS specifications, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Set up and operate welding equipment for production and repair work.
Perform TIG, MIG, or other welding processes as required.
Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and defects.
Use precision measuring tools and gauges to ensure parts meet required specifications.
Prepare, fit, and position metal parts before welding.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE and equipment requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and work area.
Read and understand blueprints, welding symbols, and technical instructions.
Follow AWS, OSHA, and company quality and safety standards.
Complete required documentation and production records.
Maintain AWS welding certifications and perform work within approved welding procedures.

Requirements
AWS Certified Welder certification
Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols
Experience with TIG, MIG, or other required welding processes
Ability to set up and operate welding equipment
Ability to use precision measuring tools and gauges
Knowledge of welding procedures and quality standards
Ability to inspect welds for defects and proper dimensions
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous welding or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to pass welding qualification tests as required
High school diploma or equivalent may be required depending on the employer
