Aircraft Structures Apprenticeship Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services United States, Ohio, Wilmington 145 Hunter Drive (Show on map) May 05, 2026 Description The Structures Trainee position participates in formal 14-week structures training program through consistent classroom attendance, participation & assigned project completion. Develops & demonstrates structural repair skills necessary to qualify for second phase of On-the-Job training as an Aircraft Structures Apprentice.

What you need:

High School Diploma or GED Basic mechanical skills/aptitude Ability to read, write, speak, understand & effectively communicate in English Demonstrated experience exhibiting fine motor skills, manual dexterity & attention to detail Demonstrated problem solving and creative thinking skills Demonstrated reliability & dependability Ability follow written & verbal directions and to interpret diagrams Desire to learn a trade Ability & willingness to practice safe work procedures Ability to precisely manipulate hand tools in a variety of situations Basic computer proficiency to enable access to digital manuals, training materials, regulations, etc.

Preferred Job Skills:

Previous work experience in a maintenance or skilled trade environment Previous experience interpreting diagrams and technical documentation or directions Previous experience using hand tools

Physical Requirements:
