Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Aluminum Mig Welder and bring your expertise in precision welding high quality aluminum horse and stock trailers. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly welding aluminum components using Mig welding techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship that meets strict industry standards. Your skills will contribute to the creation of durable, reliable products across aluminum trailer, manufacturing, and custom fabrication sectors. Responsibilities Perform MIg welding on aluminum materials, adhering to detailed blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to shape and prepare components. Measure materials to ensure exact dimensions before welding or assembly. Fabricate components by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in aluminum trailer manufacturing environments with a strong background in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) of aluminum. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings specific to aluminum fabrication projects. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment proficiently. Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, soldering, machining, rigging, and assembly techniques. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication work. Strong understanding of safety practices manufacturing environments involving ductwork or sheet metal work.
