Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 124053 Position Overview The Class B Welder is responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques to produce high-quality, structurally sound products. This Class B Welder role requires the ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and perform precision welding in a manufacturing environment. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2+ years of welding experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures Experience with grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting materials Ability to perform quality inspections on finished welds Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship High School Diploma or GED required Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Class B Welder role includes: Perform quality welds according to blueprints and specifications Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting components Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity Perform modifications, repairs, and assembly work as needed Monitor equipment and maintain proper operating conditions Support additional fabrication processes such as riveting and small part assembly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Preferred Experience Welding certification from an accredited institution (preferred) Experience with aluminum welding or heavy equipment manufacturing Familiarity withISO 9001
