Job Description

Job Summary Local manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Welder to join their team on the day shift. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling structural components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and familiarity with construction site practices will ensure the delivery of high-quality, durable structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale manufacturing and construction projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills to build strong, reliable frameworks. Monday-Friday / 6am-4:30pm / $23-28 BOE Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble structural components. Perform MIG , TIG, FCAW, and welding techniques to carbon and stainless steel Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and prepare materials for welding and assembly. Read calipers, micrometers, and schematics to measure materials precisely and ensure adherence to specifications. Conduct rigging, crane operation, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly tasks safely on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols; inspect welds for quality assurance; document work progress through reports. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving mechanical systems and structural steel assembly. Requirements Proven experience working in manufacturing environments as a welder or fabricator. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, machining equipment, and rigging operations. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with crane operation, forklift handling, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly processes preferred. Strong safety awareness; ability to follow safety procedures on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Valid certifications in welding (such as AWS certification) are highly desirable; prior experience with construction or manufacturing projects is essential. $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
