• Essential Duties & Responsibilities Depending on the position, welders may be responsible for: Perform MIG, FCAW, GTAW, or Metal Core welding Weld pipe, plate, structural steel, sheet metal, or pressure vessel components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work orders Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding processes Perform welds in required positions Inspect welds for quality, appearance, and proper penetration Use grinders and hand tools to prepare and finish welds Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow welding procedures and production specifications Follow all company safety requirements Meet production and quality expectations #
