Shift:
3:30 PM•12:00 AM (+$1 shift differential) Job Summary Action Group Staffing is seeking experienced Tank Fitter Welders to fabricate, repair, and modify tanks and vessels used for fluid and ground storage. This position requires strong welding skills, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe environment. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Proven welding experience using MIG, TIG, and stick in multiple positions Experience with pressure vessels, storage tanks, or ASME-coded work preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and tank fabrication drawings Knowledge of welding procedures (WPS) and ability to follow specifications Familiarity with grinding, beveling, and joint preparation techniques Experience working with carbon steel and/or stainless steel materials Ability to perform full penetration welds and pass visual/quality inspections Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Responsibilities Weld, assemble, and repair tanks according to blueprints and specifications Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Fit and align tank components including shells, heads, and attachments Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and industry standards Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate work records Support team members and production goals as needed
