This is an evaluation to hire position on a day shift with a company that prides itself on their safety, innovation and the pursuit of improving its quality product line. There is a significant amount of overtime with this position.
What we are seeking:
2+ years of fabrication experience. (Heavy equipment manufacturing experience preferred) Ability to perform high-quality MIG and flux-core welding with experience performing welding and fabrication duties out of position. (4G) Adept at reading blueprints and schematics with proficiency. Can perform basic computer skills, particularly the ability to use a mouse and locate and open/close programs/files. Knowledge and ability to use fabrication tools such as cutting torches, drill presses, punch presses, and grinders in the fabrication process. Good shop math, including reading tape measure, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. The ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk, push, and pull for a 10-hour shift. Can use forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes to move materials and parts. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors both in writing and verbally. Ability to lift 50lbs safely and on a semi-consistent basis. Keep the work area clean and safe.
