TIG Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team, specializing in stainless steel products for the semiconductor industry. You will be responsible for welding components for valves, fittings, equipment hook-ups, manifolds, regulators, and tube press fittings systems. Responsibilities Adhere to weld schematics and ensure precision in welding tasks. Identify and interpret weld symbols accurately. Apply basic math skills to calculate dimensions and ensure accuracy in welding. Utilize fundamental welding principles to produce high-quality welds. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding techniques. Experience in manufacturing settings, particularly with stainless steel and sheet metal. Ability to read blueprints and fabricate accordingly. Strong inspection skills to ensure quality and compliance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in purge welding. Skilled in stainless pipe welding. Why Work Here? Initially, you will train Monday to Friday on the day shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. After training, you will transition to a swing shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, with a 10% shift differential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
