Welder Job Description This role focuses on performing high-quality welding and metal fabrication in a manufacturing and production environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough visual inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Interpret and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings to complete welding and assembly tasks accurately. Support general manufacturing and production activities as needed to meet daily and weekly output goals. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during welding, grinding, and fabrication tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines. Handle and move materials and parts, including lifting items up to 50 lbs, to support production flow. Essential Skills Manufacturing or production experience in a metal fabrication or similar industrial environment. Proficiency with MIG welding processes. Experience with TIG welding. Metal grinding experience for weld preparation and finishing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely use hand tools and related equipment in a production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a high-volume production or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with structural steel fabrication processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a production team. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
