Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for welding on aluminum, sheet metal, and stainless steel. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship in accordance with blueprint specifications. Responsibilities Set up welding equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements. Fit and TIG weld stainless steel components based on specifications. Ensure work conforms to print and quality requirements. Follow production plans and meet daily output requirements. Assist with material cutting and preparation, including sawing, grinding, and deburring. Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly care for all equipment. Provide great attention to detail and focus on tasks. Adhere to all safety rules and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Essential Skills Fabrication Production TIG welding Blueprint reading Assembly Additional Skills & Qualifications Training through a certified facility is a plus. Preferred experience with stainless steel TIG welding. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. Capability to stand, kneel, and stoop. Skill in identifying and measuring material types and thicknesses. Consistent production of quality products. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Reliability and strong work ethic. Work Environment You will be working in a temperature-controlled indoor environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
