Job Title:
1st Shift Robot Welder/Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated individual with strong attention to detail to join our team as a 1st Shift Robot Welder/Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading SOPs, loading parts into fixtures, closing clamps, and unloading the robot. A basic mechanical aptitude or prior experience in manufacturing, particularly around CNC machines or welding, is required. The role involves some tack welding and overhead crane operation, focusing primarily on loading and unloading the robot welder. Responsibilities Read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately. Load parts into fixtures and ensure proper clamping. Operate the robot welder by loading and unloading parts. Perform basic tack welding as required. Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently. Ensure quality control by paying close attention to detail in all tasks. Essential Skills Experience in production and general labor, particularly with CNC machines. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read SOPs and blueprints accurately. Basic welding skills, including spot welding. Crane operation experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.63 - $20.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
