Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprint and drawings Weld small and large components Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions Set up materials for welding according to specifications Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of and the ability to comply with OSHA regulations. Ability to interpret and weld metal components to customer specifications.

Education and Experience:

Able to pass a weld test given by KFAB Proven experience as a welder

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping. Must be able to move and lift up to 40-pound skid or pallet Excellent hand-eye coordination and peripheral vision.
