Spherion Greensburg is working to fill a 1st Shift 7am-3pm Monday through Friday, Welder position in Blairsville, PA . The pay rate is $25.00 to $30.00 HOURLY . This is a direct hire position with our client. $1,500 bonus offered - Please ask for details.

Job Description:
We are seeking multiple welders that can perform MIG and TIG welding, read blueprints, weld joints, and used to welding thin materials. We are looking for a skilled, passionate Welder / Fabricator to join our team in the Blairsville area. This isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to showcase your versatility on a wide variety of materials and complex projects. This is not pipe welding. There is no overhead welding at any time.
Responsibilities:
Set up, calibrate, and operate MIG, TIG, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently. Work with
Diverse Metals:
Show off your versatility by welding light-gauge alloys, including aluminum, stainless steel, and both cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel. Blueprints to
Reality:
Read technical drawings and fabrication layouts to assemble custom products from start to finish.
Quality First:
Inspect your welds and maintain high standards of structural integrity and aesthetics.
Education:
Professional Certificate Two year certificate from college or technical school
Experience:
24 months
Physical:
Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs),Repetitive Motion,Hot Environments,Pushing /
Pulling Skills:
Proven capability in MIG and TIG welding, specifically with light-gauge alloys. Comfort and experience working across aluminum, stainless, and various steel types. Deep knowledge of welding, brazing, and cutting tools, including proper setup and maintenance., sharp eye for precision, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to shop safety.
