Job Description

West Penn Manufacturing Technologies is a small business looking for a qualified candidate for welding. We are a job shop so every day will be something different. Most of the job will be small weldments, some will be very large weldments.
Responsibilities:
Set up and weld assemblies Maintain organized workstation Coordinate with supervisors for gas and consumable needs Necessary requirements: GMAW (Mig) welding experience Ability to lift 50+ lb on a daily basis Some manufacturing or job shop experience Must be able to read drawings and tolerances Knowledge of measurement equipment such as calipers and tape measure Problem solving skills and desire to learn new processes Position will be first shift Monday-Thursday, with occasional overtime and work on Friday as needed.
