Pay:

$21-24/hr to start Job Description Join a fast-paced metal fabrication team that designs, builds, and installs custom dust collection and ventilation systems for heavy manufacturing environments. In this role, you will perform MIG welding on primarily thin-gauge sheet metal components, assist with general fabrication tasks, and contribute to producing high-quality, one-of-a-kind products in a collaborative job shop setting. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on custom parts, primarily using thin-gauge sheet metal in the manufacturing of ventilation and dust collection systems. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine measurements, layouts, and welding requirements. Work with 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and ductwork, maintaining precision in measurements and cuts. Operate and assist with equipment such as shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, saws, drills, and other sheet metal fabrication tools. Set up and use plasma cutters and other cutting equipment safely and effectively. Adapt to a job shop environment by working on a variety of one-off and custom products with changing requirements. Essential Skills At least 1-2 years of welding training or hands-on welding experience. Ability to weld thin-gauge metals, especially 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and ductwork. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. Strong tape measure skills with the ability to measure accurately and consistently. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
