Job Title:

Sand Mold Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated candidate for a 1st shift position working Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This role involves standing under a bucket of black sand, pulling a cord to release the sand into a box, and shaking the box to compact the sand. This process is crucial for allowing pourers to pour liquid metal into the box to create molds. Responsibilities Stand under a bucket holding black sand. Pull cord to release sand into a box. Shake the box to compact sand. Prepare molds for pourers to pour liquid metal. Essential Skills Understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience in the manufacturing industry. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency in reading and writing in English. Strong mechanical ability. Good hand and eye dexterity. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Machine shop experience is a plus. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment. Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a foundry type setting, which is dirty and loud. Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses while on the floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Oxford, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
