Job Description
- ?️ Structural Steel Welder
- ? 2nd Shift | Steel Fabrication Shop ?
- $23-$30/hr + $3/hr Shift Differential
- Join a busy steel fabrication team welding structural steel in a safety-focused industrial environment.
- ? Schedule
- Training (1-2 Weeks):
- + 1st
Shift:
Monday-Friday + 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
+ OT available until 3:30 PM
+ Possible Saturday OT
- Regular Schedule:
- + 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Friday + 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
+ Overtime often available until midnight
+ Occasional Saturday overtime when production demands require it
- ✅ What You'll Do
- + Perform
- flux-core welding on structural steel
- + •Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols•+ •Operate overhead cranes safely•+ •Use fabrication tools including air arc, grinders, and magnetic drills•+ •Produce quality welds that meet structural requirements•+ •Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area•?
What We're Looking For
- + Structural steel welding experience + Strong flux-core welding skills + Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols + Experience operating overhead cranes + Experience in a steel fabrication shop preferred + Comfortable working in a loud, heavy industrial environment + Own basic welding/fabrication tools
- ? Work Environment
- + Heavy industrial steel fabrication facility + Mix of newer and older equipment + Dedicated welding station + Safety-first culture + Overhead cranes throughout the shop
- ? Requirements
- + Steel-toe boots + Safety glasses + Personal welding/fabrication tools

- This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $23.
00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
