Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling high-quality metal components primarily using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques. Your expertise will ensure precision and durability in various projects, from structural frameworks to custom fabrications. Perform TIG welding on diverse materials such as sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork following detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols accurately to ensure precise fabrication. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate cuts and welds. Fabricate components by cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal parts according to project specifications. Conduct quality inspections using basic math skills and technical measurements to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards such as ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels and piping. Assist with rigging, pipe threading, assembly, machining, soldering, and other mechanical tasks as needed on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities with a focus on welding and fabrication. Skilled in TIG welding with additional proficiency in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding; experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently; familiarity with ASME codes & standards preferred. Strong knowledge of sheet metal work, ductwork fabrication, pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and machining processes. Competence in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, forklift operation certification is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work. Experience working with construction or manufacturing teams on-site or in workshop settings; crane operation or rigging experience is beneficial.
