Job Description

TIG Welder Other Areas Greenville , SC Start your new career as a Welder with MAU at GE Vernova in Greenville, SC. As a Welder, you will perform precision TIG welding on advanced materials to support gas power manufacturing in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited welding program OR 2-5 years of industrial welding experience Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding and ability to pass a weld test Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math Experience using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE Willingness to work second shift and overtime as needed Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available) What You'll Do as a
Welder:
Prepare, fit, and assemble materials such as stainless steel, nickel alloy, and Hastelloy using TIG welding processes Evaluate and adjust weld parameters during production Interpret blueprints and execute production requirements Perform precision measurements to ensure quality standards Complete paperwork and computer entries accurately and on time Use work instructions, setup sheets, and fixtures to prepare parts for welding Enter part data, log time, and access work instructions using computer systems Collaborate with team members in a lean manufacturing environment Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards Work overtime and occasional weekends as required
