Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. Responsibilities Perform various welding tasks including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) according to project specifications and AWS (American Welding Society) standards Read and interpret fabrication shop drawings to guide welding and assembly processes Measure materials accurately using measuring instruments and shop math to ensure precise fabrication Use power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and gas metal arc welding equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials Follow strict safety protocols during all welding and fabrication activities to maintain a safe working environment Support the fabrication process by handling sheet metal, metal materials, and performing sheet metal fabrication tasks with attention to detail Experience Prior construction site experience or background in metal fabrication is highly desirable Familiarity with interpreting drawings Hands-on experience with welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding in accordance with AWS standards Knowledge of using measuring instruments for quality control Experience working with power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication setting Ability to read shop math and perform basic calculations related to measurements and material quantities Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and mechanical fabrication practices is a plus Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship, safety-conscious work practices, and eager to grow your skills in a vibrant environment.
