Job Description
## Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team in Wellford, SC, 29385. As a Pipe Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our piping systems. If you have a passion for welding and a commitment to safety and precision, we want to hear from you! ## Responsibilities Perform welding tasks on various types of pipes, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for different materials and thicknesses. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred. Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid welding certification is a plus.
