Core Duties Execute welding operations across diverse piping materials such as alloy, stainless steel, and carbon steel. Analyze technical schematics and blueprints to accurately identify necessary welding specifications. Configure and manage welding machinery, adjusting parameters to suit specific material types and gauges. Verify the integrity of finished welds to guarantee they align with established quality benchmarks. Contribute to a secure workplace by consistently following all safety guidelines and operational procedures. Work alongside colleagues and other departments to ensure project goals are reached in a timely and productive manner. Record completed tasks and notify management regarding any complications or inconsistencies. Required Background Completion of high school or a GED, with preference given to those holding vocational credentials. Demonstrated history of success in pipe welding, supported by a track record of finished assignments. Skilled in multiple welding methods, specifically stick, TIG, and MIG processes. Capable of understanding and applying information found in technical drawings and blueprints. Meticulous focus on accuracy to ensure the delivery of superior craftsmanship. Strong analytical abilities with the flexibility to perform tasks solo or within a collaborative group. Possession of a current welding certification is considered an advantage.
