Job Description

Shift:
Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, overtime may be required
Position Summary:
SD Industries, LLC manufactures steel and stainless-steel product lines to meet the needs of our customers by using advanced technology and modern machinery. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, energetic, and dependable team player.
Position Reports to:
Welding Lead General Responsibilities:
Must be able to read and understand blueprints. MIG welding. TIG welding a plus. Work in other areas of fabrication and machine shop. Must be well organized, self-motivated, and possess good communication skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. 12+ months related experience and/or training (technical school) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Vocational technical school preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual. Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to use tools in a safe and proper manner.
Physical Requirements :
Standing and walking on concrete floors in a manufacturing environment. Capable of lifting up to 50-pounds. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to work overtime as needed.
