Job Description
Job DescriptionIMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking Tack Welders for a growing metal manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for performing tack welds on metal components while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety throughout the welding process.
Responsibilities
Perform tack welding on metal components using blueprints and work instructions
Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality specifications
Monitor weld quality and make adjustments when needed
Maintain proper weld strength and accuracy
Keep welding equipment, tools, and materials clean and organized
Follow all established safety and production procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
On-the-job training provided
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and technology
Good communication and time-management skills
Must be able to read, speak, and write English to understand work instructions and safety procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly push, pull, lift, and carry materials
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
