Job Description

Welder We're seeking a skilled Welder to join our metal fabrication team. This is a critical role in our production operation, where you'll work on pressing and assembling metal parts that serve various industrial applications. As a 3rd shift role, you'll be part of a dedicated team that keeps our facility running around the clock, with opportunities for independent work and strong shift incentives. Department Manufacturing & Distribution - Skilled Jobs Employment Type Full Time Location Henderson, TN Workplace type Onsite Compensation $21.59 - $23.59 / hour Reporting To Cristina Gilbert How You Will Help Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, or combination) to join metal components according to specifications and blueprints Inspect welds for quality, alignment, and adherence to engineering standards before parts move to next production stage Prepare metal surfaces through grinding, cleaning, and degreasing to ensure proper weld integrity Maintain welding equipment and notify maintenance of any malfunctions or needed repairs Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications accurately Work with pressing operations to coordinate seamless part assembly and material flow Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station; follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures Meet production quotas and quality standards while working independently during 3rd shift Communicate clearly with shift supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and quality concerns
What You Will Bring Essential:
2+ years of hands-on welding experience in a production or fabrication environment Proficiency with MIG welding; experience with TIG or Stick welding is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols Strong understanding of welding safety standards and metallurgy basics Experience with metal fabrication processes and press operations preferred Ability to work the 3rd shift schedule consistently and reliably Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs regularly) Attention to detail and commitment to quality over speed
Desired:
