Job Description
MIG WELDER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several MIG Welders for a Fabrication facility in Jasper, TN. In this role, you will be working in a Production environment and a metal fabrication plant. This position is full-time temporary to hire. Pay Rate 1st shift: $18.00 per hour 2nd shift: $18.50 per hour Schedule and Hours 1st shift: 6:00am- 2:30pm Monday
- Friday 2nd shift: 2:30pm
- 1:00am Monday
- Friday MIG Welder Duties & Responsibilities Read material prints and verify measurement of parts Perform quality inspections Grinding when needed Maintain production rate Operate the crane for heavy lifting MIG Welder Qualifications and Requirements Read tape measure to 1/32 (tape measure test will be presented) Read blueprints Weld aluminum (preferred, not required) Previous experience in a steel production welding environment Regularly lift 50 pounds (in office assessment will be conducted) Background check and drug screen required Benefits Weekly Pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offer 401K matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
