Job Summary My client is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter / Welder to support the configuration and assembly of piping products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for reading shop drawings, setting up equipment, performing fit-up, and executing welds to meet quality and production standards. Candidates will be evaluated on both measurable performance data and leadership assessment, with opportunities for advancement based on demonstrated skill progression. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain roll groove machines and related equipment Read and interpret shop drawings to accurately configure piping components Perform fit-up and adjustments to ensure parts meet required specifications Execute welding processes (GTAW, GMAW-P) in accordance with company and ASME standards Assist welding robot operators with fit-up and production support as needed Utilize measurement tools to ensure precision and quality of finished products Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and quality standards at all times Skill Levels & Advancement This role offers structured progression based on performance, certifications, and demonstrated skill: Level 1

• Standard Part Configuration Configure parts (4
• 12" diameter) per shop drawings Perform GTAW welding (2F position) on A53 and A312 pipe Understand weld symbols, measurement tools, and company weld standards Support production through accurate part setup and adjustments Level 2
• Small Diameter Configuration All Level 1 responsibilities Configure small-diameter parts (<3") Perform GTAW root pass welding as needed Level 3
• Product Configuration Mastery All Level 2 responsibilities Configure large-diameter parts (12"+) Perform GMAW-P welding (1G-R position) per ASME Section IX Demonstrate advanced proficiency across all product configurations Qualifications Experience in pipe fitting, welding, or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and weld symbols Knowledge of GTAW and/or GMAW welding processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to use measurement tools accurately Team-oriented with good communication skills
