Welder Apprentice -
Fabrication Location:
South Fulton, TN Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (50-hour workweeks) Are you ready to start a career in welding? We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn the trade while earning competitive pay. What You'll Do As a Welder Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced team members to fabricate quality products while learning industry-standard welding techniques.
Responsibilities include:
Read blueprints, part drawings, and work instructions. Prepare materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment for production. Move materials using pallet jacks, powered equipment, and hoists. Position and secure materials using clamps, tacking methods, and lift assists. Perform welding in multiple positions, including horizontal, vertical, overhead, and floor-level applications. Grind and finish welds using grinders and air sanders. Transport completed parts to designated staging areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous welding experience or welding school/training is preferred, but motivated individuals willing to learn are encouraged to apply. Ability to read measuring tools and gauges. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and positive work ethic. Ability to work overtime as scheduled. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull throughout the shift. Lift up to 75 lbs. (with lift assistance when needed).
