MIG Welder

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a MIG Welder position for a manufacturing client in Winchester, TN. This is a Temp/Contract job. !

Duties for this position include:

Perform MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding Measure and verify dimensions using hand tools and gauges Follow production schedules and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned Compensation (USD): $20.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some overtime may be required on Friday and Saturday Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Previous MIG welding experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of welding equipment and fabrication processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
