Perform welding type SAW per AWS, WPS, and/or work instructions using specific equipment to join the cans. Join pieces of metal, performing proper finishes using submerged welding machines or other methods. Use cranes as needed. Perform machine checklists and replace submerged arc wire when necessary. Ensure the quality of processed products according to control standards. Optimize available means and tools to improve efficiency. Avoid unnecessary downtime in the process to ensure productivity and achievement of daily targets. Complete all inspection and production forms associated with operations as required. Attend training programs when scheduled. Perform other tasks related to the function or as instructed by the supervisor. Adhere to safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Execute clock-in and barcode reading in SAP stations at the beginning and end of each production task. Carry out 5S activities in the area or as requested by the supervisor.

Education:

Experience:

Two (2) years as an SAW Specialist, in the position above or in a related role; Experience must include: 1. Performing welding type SAW per AWS, WPS, and work instructions; 2. Analyzing and preparing surfaces to be welded; 3. Joining pieces of metal leagues, performing the proper finished by submerged machine; 4. Ensuring quality of processed products according to standards of control.
