Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical expertise to create durable, high-quality structures and assemblies. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <

> welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications. Conduct fabrication tasks on construction sites or manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project deadlines. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts for material handling and assembly processes. Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision in fabrication. Follow ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication processes while adhering to schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Assist in pipe threading, soldering, assembly of mechanical components, and ductwork fabrication as needed. Maintain a clean workspace by properly using hand tools and power tools while observing safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to different environments. Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques across various materials. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Familiarity with rigging operations including crane handling and forklift operation for material movement. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of pipe threading, assembly processes, ductwork fabrication, and basic math calculations. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in manufacturing or construction settings while maintaining safety standards.
