Primary Responsibilities Rig Truck Required

GTAW/SMAW

Read blueprints and other engineering drawings Operate the truck's built-in generator and welding machine Keep all tools, gas tanks, and cables clean and safe 4+ years of experience welding experience on industrial size and grade equipment Must have a thorough knowledge of various metals characteristic and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material. Pass a weld test. Experience welding multiple types of material possibly including but not limited to: carbon steel, Fluxcore, stainless, aluminum and chrome. Be able and willing to assist with other activities while not actively welding. Must be able to work at heights as required.

Qualifications:

Qualified in at least 2 processes Physical Requirements Large amounts of walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and lifting Ability to climb stairs and ladders Ability to wear fall protection equipment Lifting requirements are limited to 50 pounds Ability to walk on uneven ground Ability to work in hot and cold weather environments
