Summary:
Cuts, threads and bends metals and other products into various configurations. Assembles and installs metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings by performing the following duties in safe and reasonable productive time frames:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch. Must be able to follow verbal instructions, written and pictorial instructions. Must be able to use hand tools. Cuts, threads and bends pipe with hydraulic pipe bender and manual bender tool Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes and fittings including iron, steel, copper and plastic. Ability to use acetylene and oxygen torch set. Read and interpret documents such as a layout drawing, builds of material and piping diagrams. Use of appropriate PPE (e.g., infrared-filtering safety glasses, flame resistant gloves, sleeves and shirt). Train and work in multiple types of manufacturing positions (i.e. Assembly, Wire and Weld). Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
1-3yrs of experience working in a manufacturing environment. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.

N/A Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand English instructions. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Abilty to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
