• Responsibilities
• + Perform MIG welding using .

035 hard wire

+ Weld mild steel ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick, with occasional projects up to 1"

+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

+ Set up welding machines, including voltage and amperage adjustments

+ Fit up and align parts using fixtures and jigs

+ Produce clean, smooth welds that meet quality standards

+ Verify dimensions using measuring tools

+ Follow shop safety and quality procedures

• Qualifications
• + At least 1 year of MIG welding experience + Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols + Experience setting up your own welding machine + Ability to fit and prepare parts for welding + Ability to accurately read a tape measure + Strong attention to detail and quality
