This position will weld parts and/or assemblies of light gauge material (.032 inches or lighter); light gauge material to heavy stock (.090 or thicker); assemblies and/or parts requiring welds close to edge (within .25 inches or less) where edge may be readily burned off and part and/or assembly rendered totally useless; thick stock (.090 or thicker) where part and/or assembly is easily damaged and where any imperfections in penetration of weld are not permissible Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance
