Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.163(f), unless otherwise modified by a CBA between labor and management. Job Summary Requires ability to weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products, such as MTESC MTE, machine parts, equipment, using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment. This worker welds metal parts together, using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes, performs related tasks such as cutting and grinding, repairs broken or cracked parts, positions, and clamps together components of fabricated metal products in preparation for welding.
