Full Job Description Position:
Welder II Schedule:
Friday-Sunday 6:00AM-6:30
PM Position Overview:
Perform welding (GTAW-Pulsed, GTAW-Hot Wire, GTAW, FCAW) on valves and piping. Overlay and manual pipe welding abilities required. Level II Manual Pipe Welding pass
GTAW, FCAW
processes and be able to pass 6G test and X-ray on ½"-6" Pipe. Airconditioned shop with multiple shifts available.
Core Qualifications:
High School degree required, technical courses preferred Certified Welder or ability to become certified within first six months of employment Minimum of 5 years welding, cutting, brazing experience Minimum of 5 years using the compact cladders (ARC 5, Fronius) Skills & Abilities Must be able to read and follow weld procedures and pass a 6 G
GTAW/FCAW
weld test Familiar with the safe operation of welding and cutting equipment and gas equipment Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to read and interpret weld drawings May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
