This role offers an exciting opportunity to work during overnight hours, contributing to large-scale construction sites and fabrication facilities. As a key player in our skilled trades team, you'll utilize your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to produce high-quality welds that meet rigorous safety and quality standards. MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding on various materials including sheet metal, ductwork, and structural components Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication tasks Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure accurate cuts, welds, and assemblies Fabricate components for construction projects, manufacturing units, or ductwork systems following ASME codes & standards Rigging and assembly of welded structures using cranes, forklifts, and mechanical knowledge to ensure safe handling and installation Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Proven experience with construction sites or manufacturing environments involving welding and fabrication tasks Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; familiarity with welding preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication work Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and machining equipment effectively Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, soldering, rigging, machining operations, and assembly procedures Competence with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes Experience operating forklifts or other lifting equipment; familiarity with crane operations beneficial Knowledge of ductwork installation or sheet metal fabrication advantageous Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a tangible impact!
