KP Staffing Round Rock is now hiring welder/fabricators for a company in Kyle, TX! Job Summary The welder/fabricator will weld and fabricate pipe assemblies and related components used in fire protection applications. Pay $21

• 25 per hour Shift 1st shift: 5:30 a.m.
• 2:30 p.m., Monday
• Friday Duties Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding processes as required Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and welding symbols Fabricate and weld carbon steel and galvanized pipe assemblies Set up and safely operate welding and fabrication equipment Inspect completed welds and verify measurements and specifications Complete production and quality documentation Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow OSHA requirements, safety policies, and required PPE procedures Report production, material, equipment, and maintenance issues promptly Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Welding certification preferred 1+ years of welding and fabrication experience Pipe fabrication experience highly preferred Experience welding carbon steel and/or galvanized pipe preferred Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols Experience operating common fabrication shop equipment Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills Job Type Full-time How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Round Rock for an in-person interview.
