Company is seeking highly skilled and motivated MIG Welder(s) to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding operations on various metal components, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise in MIG welding, along with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and fabrication techniques, will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction and manufacturing projects. Responsibilities Execute MIG welding on sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural components following detailed blueprints and schematics. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts accurately. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances meet specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols. Assist with rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and other mechanical tasks as needed on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during welding or fabrication processes to optimize efficiency and quality. Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on MIG welding techniques. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to metal fabrication. Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication projects. Ability to perform TIG welding as a complementary skill for specialized tasks. Familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) processes is a plus. Mechanical knowledge including rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly procedures. Experience working with ductwork or in manufacturing environments is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read schematics accurately under tight deadlines. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
