Welder Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $18.00 to $23.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday) Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner. Execute welding operations using assigned welding techniques and processes. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols. Select and apply appropriate wire and filler materials for various steel alloys, aluminum, and other materials. Set up and adjust welding parameters, including amperage, voltage, and fixturing. Inspect welds and completed work for quality and specification compliance. Complete required process certifications, inspections, and documentation. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment. Use manual and power tools to complete finish grinding and weld finishing operations. Utilize conventional and precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and housekeeping standards.

Welder Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of welding. High school diploma or GED preferred. Welding certifications preferred. Proficiency in welding techniques and welding equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and welding symbols. Strong understanding of welding materials and applications. Experience using measuring tools and equipment. Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
