Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks across various projects, ensuring all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and industry codes. Your expertise will contribute to building durable structures, piping systems, ductwork, and metal assemblies that stand the test of time. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse construction sites and manufacturing environments where your craftsmanship makes a real impact. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate cuts and welds. Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape materials according to project specifications. Execute pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly tasks following codes & standards for safety and quality compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Collaborate with rigging teams for crane operations during heavy lifting or installation of large components. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial environments. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as pipe threading, soldering, and assembly of metal structures. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. Knowledge of codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication work.
